Philadephia PA, April 17 – Searer Business Technology announces the availability of version 6.0 of Executive Series. Version 6.0 includes over 350 new features and enhancements across all modules as well as enhanced support for MS SQL 2005, Oracle, Sybase ASE and newly added support for Sybase SQL Anywhere.
The highlights of version 6.0 include enhanced useability features, better interantionalization support, new financial report writer features, GL budget generation, enhanced calendar setup, a number of new processing options, and security improvements. The useability improvements include new query recall features that retrieve prior search criteria for each screen. Lookup windows provide similar recall features as well as new display features to restore window size, window location, and data grid locations. Internationalization features provide preloaded country and currency information for the world. Currency formatting and rounding are more accurate and faster. New subledger revaluation processing automatically handles unrealized gain/loss journal entry generation. New 1099 recalculations allow for automatic corrections to 1099 amounts even after payment processing has completed.
Executive Series, a scalable accounting system for the mid market, has a full suite of modules including General Ledger, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Order Entry, Inventory Control, Purchase Orders, Fixed Assets, Imaging, and Audit Tracking. With the availability of source code, Executive Series enables full customizability for any business process. Executive Series provides unlimited history, multi-company and multicurrency features out of the box. Searer Business Technology acquired the Executive Series product line from Sage Accpac in 2006.
